Release Party FAQ:

Which Flux-adel artists are being featured? ?

Four of our artists have new material coming out: Roaming Crazy’s new single “Sing Too”, 2MERICA’s 3rd LP “Mass Entertainment”, Ezraz’ 3rd EP “Slow Rise”, and the debut release from Winnie Rose “The Nightlight Aria”. Although not promoting new material, The Stares 20/20 will be in attendance also.

Can I get promotional/review copies of the new material?

Yes, for promotion or review, contact us and we will comp you. The rest of you need to pull together your coins and buy some music.

I thought the Lasalle Theater closed 20 years ago. Is it re-opening?

Come see for yourself! Roaming Crazy recorded “Sing Too” at the Theater last year and we want to invite all of you to enjoy this amazing building with us.

Are any of the artists performing at the party?

No. We will be presenting a video and audio set for each artist, running approximately 2 hours for all 4 artists. This will be a cocktail listening party with space set up for conversation, interviews, and celebration, but not a live show.

Will there be dinner/drinks/snacks at the party?

Dinner, no. There are excellent restaurants up and down East 185th so make an evening of it!?Drinks are BYO but we will have enough juice, water, beer and wine to get you started. Snacks, yes, we are planning on having some appropriate snacks for the theater.

How should I dress?

Hint: The Artists will be presenting themselves in a classic theater, one of the finest examples of 1920’s architecture in the city. Usually sloppy and all business, we will be dressing for success and to match our surroundings. Do what you can do to bring the silent movie era roaring back. This is not a costume ball and costumes are not required, but remember they didn’t have rock tees in the 1920’s ;-).

How long is the party going?

The presentations will be complete around 10pm but we have the Theater for the whole evening, so who knows?

Off-street parking is available on the south side of the Theater in the lot of the former Lasalle Tavern. Street parking is also available throughout the neighborhood.

Finally, we’d like to thank our sponsors — The Musician’s Garden, Northeast Shores, and Collinwood Sun LLC — for helping to make this go.

Hope to see you there!
